Asher's 7th birthday
Asher had a lovely 7th bday. He wanted a hiking party with cake at the summit--all his idea. So we invited a crew and went hiking! Kids ate cupcakes at the top and then we played games. I have to get pictures from my friends and update later! Teams selected who was the 'injured hiker' and the rest of the team had to bandage them up. Then each hiker got transported on a bedsheet, carried by teammates. The other hikers coming up to the top must have wondered what on earth was going on!!
Eden's 4.5 bday
Eden had a 4.5 birthday party this year--her first party--because it is just too impossible to have a party in the holiday season on her real birthday! She got a few gifts from parents and we had a special set of family friends out to eat pizza and paint pottery together. It was fun!
Eden draws 'propeller hats' on so many characters in her drawings. We got her one for her birthday and she was delighted! However, when she realized it would not actually make her fly, she told me behind the scenes that I needn't have spent the money. She thought they made the wearer fly.

Owen's 9th birthday
Owen asked for an 'out' birthday party for the first time this year, and he selected glow-in-the-dark candlepin bowling with friends. It was very fun! We painted glow-in-the-dark t-shirts for party favors. And I'm not ashamed to say I bought the cake and it was delicious and oh, so easy! ;)
Asher Art
Asher has not done a lot of drawing lately. He writes quite a bit compared to the others, though. Hope his drawings come back someday as I really love them :) Found a few.
