More Cancer
Friend from high school and youth group...newly discovered cancer...cat scans last week...biopsy today...PET scan tomorrow...full diagnosis Thursday...possibly start treatment Friday...early 30s...wife and 6 month old baby...frightened family...will you pray for him with me? I hate cancer and how it rips so much good apart. Thinking of my Dad this time last year, and realizing that it can be even worse when it hits a younger family...beyond difficult.

So happy to find out that the Dr. thinks the lymphoma may be totally curable with a hefty round of chemo and radiation!!
Love your blog, love your talent for writing - the daily adventures of Owen and Asher, the ideas you provide- how to teach a kid to ride a bike or how to remodel a bathroom using Google, sharing your feelings on the loss of your Dad, and more recently your good friend, Bill. Tonight I read your blog and am deeply touched. Thank you for requesting healing prayers for Michael. I am his aunt.

Dear Connie,
You are very kind!! I am honored that you enjoy our humble everyday stories :) I know I've met you before...but it was a loooong time ago now, probably when I was in high school with Meg.
Know that we are praying for Michael and the whole family, for his complete recovery. We hate cancer around here, and pray for many unforeseen blessings to rain down on Michael as he goes through this really tough time.
