Owen's first baby tooth loss happened tonight...it was hanging pretty crooked in there for a long time and every night I give it a wiggle (much to his chagrin), and tonight I talked him into letting me try again. Out it came! It bled a lot, I was surprised. He caught a glimpse of his holey lower row of teeth in the mirror and promptly burst into horrified tears. Poor guy!! I felt so bad I had done it. He is not one who loves a change that he doesn't ask for. But he did pretty well and getting past it and sticking the tooth under his pillow on the sly.

I'm with Owen. Noah has 2 loose teeth and I went to CO this weekend with he and Anna. One of my prayer requests was that his teeth stay in during the trip. I'd actually be happy if he kept his baby teeth forever.
Well, at least he can never fly away and be Peter Pan. Peter Pan had all his baby teeth. That might not make Owen any happier, but it is slight comfort for Mom.
Yay! I was just wondering if that tooth ever fell out! The nice thing is that he probably didn't look much different since the adult tooth is already there. The dentist told me the tongue will naturally push that tooth forward when the baby tooth comes out and that has definitely happened for Hannah with her bottom teeth. I'm *not* ready for Hannah's top two teeth to go yet! Luckily, they're not loose.
Too funny, Steph. In an effort to get Owen on board with losing his teeth (months ago now) I actually photoshopped a picture of Reuel with tiny little teeth...it was nasty. I told Owen that if Daddy never lost his baby teeth that's what he'd look like!! Ha ha, the things we do.
